The last three months, since the publication of Her Last Chance, have been pretty busy, proofing book 2, and working on book 3 in the DI Crow series. It was all worth it, though, as last week Inkubator Books got in touch to announce that the second in the series, The Killing Ground, was ready to go, and they would be publishing a month ahead of schedule! It’s out for pre-order in the UK now, and goes on sale on 23rd July on Amazon in the UK and the US. I’m delighted, and really excited to see how Crow gets on in his second outing. Book 3 is also well under way, and for the first time, will see my favourite prickly detective tackling a routine investigation that quickly becomes anything but straightforward. Needless to say, his son-in-law, the long suffering John Larson, will be making his invaluable and usually thankless contribution to the case. The only question is, what is Crow going to be tackling next? Things are only going to get tougher over in West Hill.
