This spring is going to be an exciting one! Slightly later than planned, the proofs of Thicker Than Water (DI Crow book 4) are in their final check, complete with a fantastic cover created by the brilliant Huy Truong Check it out below:
DCI Crow’s latest case starts with a spate of seemingly senseless murders, and an investigation that takes him back sixty years into the murky world of baby trafficking, corruption and organised crime. Thicker Than Water will be out on 24th April, but subscribers to my occasional newsletter can get a sneak peek – click here to subscribe.
In other news, I’m delighted (and excited!) to be taking part in a panel at this year’s Crimefest in Bristol, taking place from 15-18 May. Sadly, it is the final year of this amazing festival, which gives both writers and readers the chance to rub shoulders and swap notes with some of the world’s greatest crime and thriller writers. This year, Lee and Andrew Child will be taking the stage, along with Mark Gatiss, Michael Ridpath, Vaseem Khan and a host of other brilliant authors – it’s a bit like the Glastonbury festival of crime writing! While I’m waiting for the fun to start, I’ll be hard at work planning Crow’s next case!
